The customers we are targeting are students and people who are working. They will just need to order food online then we deliver it where they are. Everyone needs food since it is a basic need and snacks/drinks are good for refreshments. The best thing with food is that people must it they just have to be tasty, maintain hygiene and have quality customer service. There are many ways to market food in the social media. First is through the use of Facebook where we post what we sell. Facebook marketing has advantages such as it has a lot of users and hence can get many potential customers, It is cheaper and the ads last forever; they don’t disappear with time, one can get to know what others think about the ad and it allows users to share the ads with others. Disadvantages include people may give negative comments, there is a lot of competition as many business are using it and it requires a lot of commitment in terms of time (Packer, 2012). Another way to market on social media is LinkedIn. It gives direct access to people looking for products or services. Advantages include one can reach audiences of high value, it is easy to filter audience to have those you need, One is able to get necessary and right clicks and you can set up personal campaigns (Saravanakumar & Suganthalakshmi, 2012). Disadvantages include advertising come at a higher premium cost and some users on LinkedIn are there for other purposes other than getting business solutions. Lastly social media marketing can be done through twitter. The business owner has to post and people can give their views through comments and anyone following can get to see the posts every time you post. Advantages include reaching a wide audience, it is free to create a twitter account, one to build a brand, and one can get feedback from potential customers. Disadvantages include requires a lot of time commitment, the post must be done at the right time, it is prone to spam and it has character limits (Packer, 2012).
